I have read in papers that in providing us with a cell phone, our parents have the right to set the rules for its use : “Always answer calls from parents immediately.” “Always identify where and with whom you are.” Many parents set limits for younger children’s use and have their teens take responsibility for their own cell phone bills.

These technologies have a lot of benefits, like helping us work out our identities and connect with peers. However, there are also risks of using the internet, such as privacy concerns and connecting with strangers.

WE often enjoy playing video games online or using a video game system hooked up to a TV. Most of our parents worry that we children are "addicted" to video games because we play for such long periods of time. In that case I guess parents can establish time limits with us to make sure that homework, sleep, physical activity, and family time are part of our lives.
